SMS, call and email cost calculator
LC Phone and LC Email are billed per use. The rate per text looks tiny until you add carrier fees and realise one message can be three segments. Enter a month of activity for one sub-account.
SMS segment counter
Paste a message. A standard (GSM-7) SMS fits 160 characters; longer messages split into 153-character segments. One emoji, curly quote or other Unicode character switches the whole message to 70 / 67 characters per segment. Each segment is billed separately.

Where the money actually goes
- Carrier fees can be half the cost of a text. On "other carriers" an outbound segment is $0.00747 + $0.0042.
- Forwarding doubles call cost. A call forwarded to a cell phone bills an incoming leg and an outgoing leg ($0.02/min vs $0.01165/min answered in the app).
- Calls round up. LC Phone bills full minutes, so a 61-second call is 2 minutes.
- Email is cheap until it's a deliverability problem. Read LC Email vs cold email before you load a purchased list.
